Share Your Words: Celebrating 50 Years of Hip-Hop

The United States celebrates Hip-Hop History Month in November. This year marks a special moment as we celebrate 50 years since the birth of Hip-Hop, whose origin is widely considered to have started at a party in the Bronx on August 11, 1973.

Throughout the year, we’ve seen our artists and labels celebrate 50 years of Hip-Hop culture through events, releases, editorials, and more.

We want to hear from you – our staff, partners, and community – about what 50 years of Hip-Hop has meant to you. Join in by answering the two questions below and stay tuned for more celebrations.
