2023 Premios Gardel Winners Announced

The winners of the 25th annual Premios Gardel have been announced! The 2023 Premios Gardel took place on May 16th at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina; recognizing the best in Argentine music across various categories. Congratulations to The Orchard’s distributed labels and partners on 15 wins!

The night featured performances from Trueno (Plano Astral LLC) and La Joaqui (Bartives Sociedad Anonima (prev. Lauria Management SRL).

Trueno (Plano Astral LLC) took home 4 awards! The biggest award of the night was Album of the Year for his album BIEN O MAL. Trueno also received wins for Best Urban Music Album, Best Urban Music Song, and Best Urban Music Collaboration.

Bizarrap (Dale Play Records) was awarded Best Urban Music Song for his collaboration with Quevedo, “Quevedo: BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 52.”  

The band Babasónicos (Pop Art) was awarded for Best Alternative Rock Album and “Bailando” by Los Auténticos Decadentes, Miranda! (Pop Art) received the honor of Best Collaboration

Acqua Records artists received wins for the Best Tango Song (Quinteto Negro La Boca, Ana Sofía Stamponi, Ernesto Zeppa), Best Tango and/or Instrumental Orchestra and/or Group (Lidia Borda, Luis Borda), and Best Children’s Album (Piojos y Piojitos) categories.
