The 2019 Latin American Music Awards nominees have been announced and the list is nothing short of straight fire. Telemundo returns to host the bash and just shared the nominee list, with Ozuna leading in nominations for the second year in a row at nine.
Fans get the final say, though. As tradition, the Latin AMA’s pay tribute to this year’s top performing Latin artists but fans are encouraged to vote for the ultimate winners.
Ever wondered how the nominees are selected? Well, they’re based on key fan interactions from the past year. This includes sales, airplay, streaming and social activity tracked by Billboard and Nielsen. So the more you streamed and listened to your favorite Latin-American song, the better shot it had at a nomination.
