This just in! MTV’s most entertaining award show has announced their Video Music Awards nominations. The winners will be reported live from The Prudential Center in New Jersey next month on August 26, 2019, with comedian Sebastian Maniscalco hosting the summer event.
While we’re sure there will be plenty of surprises at this year’s show, MTV announced two new categories announced along with the nominees, sparking buzz around the huge nods to international music presence with Best K-Pop and musical benevolence with Video For Good.
We’re always blown away seeing our partners leading the charge. BTS “Boy With Luv” (feat. Halsey) is nominated for 4 categories including Best Collaboration, Best K-Pop, Best Art Direction and Best Choreography.
Meanwhile, representation at the VMAs in the Latin sphere comes from two of the biggest names in the genre: Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee are up for the Best Latin Award — “MIA” (feat. Drake) and “Con Calma” (feat. Snow), respectively.
Voting is now open for the nominees on MTV, where you can vote up to ten times per category a day. Support your favorite artists by voting now and be sure to tune in to see who takes home the Moon Person!
Congrats to our distributed artists and labels!
