The Orchard Earns 3 Spots on the Music Week Awards ShortlistThe esteemed UK music industry publication, Music Week shared their list of nominees for the 2019 Music Week Awards, taking place May 9 at Battersea Evolution in London. A special event honoring those businesses dedicated to music, nominees include record labels, PR and law firms, radio, live, and everything in between. We are proud to share the The Orchard in the running for three awards!  In association with YouTube Music, the celebration represents the state of the industry with categories including “Music Consumer Innovation” as well as “Label/Artist Services Company.” We’re honored to be featured alongside many of the hardest working, and innovative companies in the business.

As our service offering continues to adapt, The Orchard has developed an Artist Services division which continues to take shape in a big way. This past year was an exciting one as we worked on the global campaign surrounding Jorja Smith‘s debut album, Lost & Found. Since the release, The Orchard and FAMM have formed a united front helping to snowball Lost & Found on a global scale. Thanks to our in-house teams including design, interactive marketing, advertising, and college marketing, The Orchard was able to promote a comprehensive campaign from concept to launch helping us to secure new fans… and a spot on the shortlist for Artist Marketing Campaign.

The same Artist & Label Services team continues to grow across UK, Australia, US, and Spain. The Orchard’s new Global Head of Artist and Label Services, Tim Pithouse came on board bringing a slew of opportunities to both The Orchard and our partners. We’re excited for what’s to come and are so honored to be recognized within the Label/Artist Services category.

As distributors, The Orchard works closely with the biggest retailers in music.  Our goal is to get our labels and artists the most visibility as possible. Our sales team knows what it takes to reach an audience and has helped amp up the hype and promote our artists and labels on a grand scale. That is why The Orchard UK has landed another great placement: the list for Sales Team.
