The nominations for Colombia’s Premios Nuestra Tierra have been announced! The award show is scheduled to take place May 17. It is not yet announced if the event will be conducted in a fully or partially virtual format. The Orchard is honored to distribute many of those nominated artists and releases.  

Amongst this year’s nominees is Puerto Candelaria. The band has been creating genre bending music for over two decades and has self-described as unique genres such as “Colombian Jazz” and “Cumbia Underground.” Puerto Candelaria performances are known to be complete entertainment experiences combining humor, dance, and theater alongside their reflective music. The largely influential band are in the running for Artista Folclórico (Folk Artist).
