Since 2009, The MIN Awards for Independent Music (Premios MIN) have celebrated the diversity and artistic quality of independent music produced in Spain. Each year, The MIN Awards introduce emerging artists to new audiences and promote the Spanish sector of music. The nominated artists for each category are voted upon by the public, and the awarded artists are then chosen by a jury of music experts. The Orchard has been a proud sponsor of both the 2020 and 2021 MIN Album of the Year Awards. 

Last week, the 2021 MIN Awards Gala took place in Burgos, Spain. We are excited to announce that six artists distributed by The Orchard were awarded in nine categories. Among these artists is Delaporte, the Spanish and Italian electronic music band based in Madrid, who took home the most awards of the night. Delaporte was created by musicians Sandra Delaporte and Sergio Salvi, whose musical backgrounds in funk, soul, R&B, and jazz contributed to Delaporte’s unique sound.
