Latin GRAMMY Winners Are Announced At The 20th Annual Award Show

Latin GRAMMY Winners Are Announced At The 20th Annual Award Show

The Latin GRAMMY Awards celebrated their 20th anniversary last night at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The show was packed with performances and surprises. Ozuna took the stage lending his skills on the keys, paired with his beloved vocals and futuristic aesthetic to match the stylization behind his latest single “Hasta Que Salga El Sol.” The Orchard was thrilled to represent over 50 nominees from artists and labels we work with across the globe. It’s with great pleasure we can say that our distributed artists contributed to our best year yet!

Of the ten in the running for Best New Artists at the 2019 awards, the angelic voice of Nella came out on top. A Venezuela native, Nella blends the beauty of traditional Latin ballads with contemporary language breathing new air into the music of her home country. This win marks Nella’s first, and well-deserved Latin GRAMMY.

Not as new to the Latin GRAMMY scene, Mart’nália’s album Mart’nália Canta Vinicius de Moraes was awarded Best Samba/Pagode Album. This marks the second Latin GRAMMY win for the Samba singer who took on the same award in 2017 for + Misturado

The whimsical duo The Lucky Band landed a prestigious award as well. The pair make learning fun and full of joy with colorful, uplifting tracks with will have your little ones (and yourself) grooving to the beat. Their latest album Buenos Diaz was so catchy it caught the award for Best Latin Children’s Album.

Congratulations to all of our distributed artists and labels who took home Latin GRAMMY Awards! Find the full list of winners here and The Orchard’s partners named below:
