What a year it has been for our Argentine artists and labels this year! The annual Premios Gardel is a celebration recognizing the best in national music of Argentina. The awards cover a multitude of different genres and categories.
This year, the ceremony took place at the Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday, June 18. We were honored to receive 66 nominations and 10 winners from The Orchard‘s very own distributed labels and partners.
DALE PLAY Records took home three wins with Best Tropical / Cumbia Artist Album (La Joaqui), Best Rkt Song (La Joaqui), and Best Children’s Album (Margarita).
