This year’s Premios Gardel A La Música winners have been announced. The annual award show celebrates Argentina’s best music and artists from the past year. The Orchard distributed artists had more than 50 nominations and 20 wins! The award show took place this past Tuesday, August 23rd at Movistar Arena Argentina and streamed via Star+ Latinoamérica.
With over 4.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, it is no surprise that the biggest award of the night, Album of the Year, was given to WOS, aka Valentín Oliva, for his album OSCURO ÉXTASIS. The 24-year-old rapper, freestyler, and actor also won Best Rock Song, Producer of The Year: Facundo Yalve, Best Recording Engineer(s): Javier Fracchia, Facundo Yalve y Nicolás Cotton, and Best Urban Collaboration for the song “CAMBIANDO LA PIEL” with Nicki Nicole.
20-year-old rapper and singer Trueno from La Boca, Buenos Aires had three wins! ATREVIDO EN VIVO was awarded Best Live Album and “DANCE CRIP” won Best Urban Song and Best Short Music Video.

2022 Premios Gardel Anuncian Los Ganadores
Los ganadores de los Premios Gardel a la Música 2022 fueron anunciados. La entrega de premios anual celebra lo mejor de la música Argentina, y artistas distribuidos por The Orchard recibieron ¡más de 50 nominaciones y 20 premios! La gala tuvo lugar el pasado martes 20 de agosto en el Movistar Arena de Buenos Aires y por streaming a través de Star + Latinoamérica.
Con más de 4.3 millones de oyentes mensuales en Spotify, no fue sorpresa que el premio más grande de la noche, Álbum del Año y el Gardel de Oro, fuera para WOS, aka Valentín Oliva, por su álbum OSCURO ÉXTASIS. El rapero, freestyler y actor de 24 años también ganó Mejor Canción de Rock, Productor del Año (Facundo Yalve), Ingeniero de Grabación (Javier Fracchia, Facundo Yalve y Nicolás Cotton) y Mejor Colaboración de Música Urbana por su canción “CAMBIANDO LA PIEL” con Nicki Nicole.
