Introducing, Derek Anderson, Label Manager
Hi everyone, my name is Derek Anderson and I’m beyond excited to be joining the Label Management team here at The Orchard. Originally from Weston, CT and having spent the last 7 years living in various parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan, I’ve just relocated to Nashville, TN with my wife Rachel. We welcomed our new baby boy into the world this January. Prior to joining The Orchard, I had the pleasure of working with many of you while on the Label Management team at RED Distribution and I more recently spent the last two years with Kobalt Music working in the Client Management department of their AWAL platform.
I graduated from Boston’s Berklee College of Music playing drum set and majoring in Music Business/Management and while I can honestly say I’m a fan of all musical styles and genres, I have a soft spot for the heaviest of metal.
I couldn’t be happier to be here and I’m looking forward to working with everyone and winning BIG in Nashville and around the world!
