Premio Lo Nuestro Announce 2021 Nominees

Premio Lo Nuestro Announce 2021 Nominees

Since 1989, the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards have recognized the best artists and releases in Latin music. This year the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards are taking on a virtual format, airing live on Thursday, February 18 at 7PM ET from Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena via Univision. We’re proud to say that our distributed artists and labels earned over 30 nominations for this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro!

Puerto Rican superstar Ozuna is one of this year’s top ranked nominees, claiming stake in over six different categories: Artist of The Year, Song of the Year, Remix of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Urban Song of the Year, Urban Album of the Year, as well as mentions for “LA CAMA (Remix)”– which was nominated for Best Remix — and “Crossover” Collaboration Of The Year for his collab with Black Eyed Peas and J. Rey Soul. In 2020, the “Carmelo” singer dominated streams on Spotify, landing on the Most Streamed Lists in Italy, Spain, and France. On Amazon Music, Ozuna was included at least eight times across Best of 2020, Rap y Trap, Latin, and Reggaeton highlights and earned five spots across TIDAL’s Best of Reggaeton, Songs of the Year, and Best of Latinx for 2020.

Dominican singer and songwriter Natti Natasha is nominated in four categories this year: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Remix of the Year, and Female Urban Artist of the Year. Natti received a nomination for Song of the Year for her remix with Romeo Santos, “La Mejor Versión De Mí (Remix).” The original version of the song first appeared on Natti Natasha’s 2019 album ilumiNatti, which debuted No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.

Tune in to the live Premio Lo Nuestro Awards on Thursday, February 18 at 7PM ET on Univision. Find all The Orchard distributed nominees below and the full list of nominations here
