Dive into some new music from Country artist Russell Dickerson, Spanish Hip-Hop sensation Yung Beef, and Russian artist Siuzanna.
Russell Dickerson – Southern Symphony (Triple Tigers)
Nashville-based multi-platinum recording artist Russell Dickerson released his sophomore studio album Southern Symphony, out now via Triple Tiger. The new album follows Russell’s 2017 gold-certified full-length debut “Yours” which bowed at #5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, #1 on the Emerging Artists Chart and yielded three consecutive #1 smashes, including the double-platinum “Yours,” the platinum “Blue Tacoma,” and platinum “Every Little Thing.” Southern Symphony features ten-track tracks, co-produced alongside friend and frequent collaborator Casey Brown and a first-time collaboration with legendary producer Dann Huff (Thomas Rhett, Martina McBride, Keith Urban, etc). On the album, Russell says “‘Southern Symphony’ is hands down the best work I’ve created,” said Dickerson, “It’s the best songs I’ve written. It’s sonically the best we’ve created. This album is ten honest and true tracks that tell the story of how I’ve grown as an artist and a man. I could not be more proud of every song on this album.”
Yung Beef – Sonrisas and Lágrimas (La Vendicion 2020)
Spanish Hip-Hop artist Yung Beef releases not one, but two new mixtapes today: Sonrisas and Lágrimas. Yung Beef came onto the scene a number of years ago as a member of the Barcelona-based collectives PXXR GVNG and La Mafia Del Amor. He’s one of the most original European rappers out there, blending Spanish trap with Atlanta Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, and more. Sonrisas and Lágrimas, translated to “Smiles” and “Tears,” is Yung Beef’s fifth and sixth mixtapes of this year! He understands that the two emotional acts can exist alone, but are intimately intertwined, which he explores across both projects. Listen to the two new mixtapes from Yung Beef, Sonrisas and Lágrimas, out now.
Siuzanna – MEGALITH (SIuzanna)
Russian artist Siuzanna presents a new two-part record MEGALITH. Siuzanna’s music features catchy pop distorted by rumbling bass and post-rock vibes, with brass and strings colliding with drums and bass. In describing her own music in an interview with SoccerBible, Siuzanna said “I think that my music almost sounds the way I look. It’s a mixture of a lot of different cultures. I have Polish blood, Russian, Jewish, Ethiopian blood and a mixture of influences. So I’d say it’s pretty exotic.” Listen to the new two-part MEGALITH out now!
