DPR IAN – Moodswings In This Order (Dream Perfect Regime)
DPR Ian, the music project of Korean-Australian artist Christian Yu, has just dropped his new EP Moodswings In This Order. DPR Ian is the videographer of Dream Perfect Regime, a multi-genre music and video collective based in Seoul that creates, directs, produces, and edits all kinds of audiovisual projects. Yu made his solo debut in the fall of 2020 by releasing his two singles off Moodswings In This Order, “So Beautiful” and “No Blueberries,” which topped charts domestically.
Wrongonyou – Sono io (Carosello Records)
Wrongonyou, whose real name is Marco Zitelli, is an Italian musician from Rome set to release his second album, Sono io (Carosello Records). For years, the Italian singer primarily wrote in English and toured his first EP The Mountain Man across major European and American festivals, such as Primavera Sound, SXSW, Great Escape, and more. Most recently, Wrongonyou competed in the 2021 Festival di Sanremo where he won the critic’s award in the emerging artists category with the song “Lezioni di Volo,” which is currently #37 on the Spotify Global Viral Chart. Sono io is a personal record, that Wrongonyou began writing when lockdowns first occurred at the beginning of 2020. Listen now on all digital platforms.
Majentta – Near Dark (Booking Machine Agency)
As a well-known music video director, Russian creative Majentta debuts as a solo artist with the release of her album Near Dark (Booking Machine Agency). As a music video director, Majentta has directed artists such as Markul, Thomas Mraz, Erika Lundmoen, polnalyubvi, Souloud, and many more. In her debut release Near Dark, Majentta steps aside from directing others, and this time tells her own story through metaphor. “Anyone who wants to see the morning dawn must go through the night,” Majentta says. The album works through themes of abuse and domestic violence, through the metaphor of a vampire story. As a gifted visual person, Near Dark is accompanied by vivid visuals and video sequences
