The nominations for this year’s BET Awards have been announced! The awards will take place June 25th in Los Angeles. Congratulations to The Orchard’s distributed labels and partners on 4 nominations!
Red Bull Records artist Blxst received a nomination for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist! In March, Blxst released Just For Clarity 2, a project that he says is, “…a flawless four pack because it’s intentionally short and sweet, but it’s also an appetizer before the debut.”
TillyMann Music Group artist Tamela Mann was nominated for the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award for her song “Finished (Live).” Tamela creates music and art that draws audiences closer to faith and this song is a highlight from her last album Overcomer.
Human Re Sources artist RAYE was nominated for the Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act. Her album My 21st Century Blues. and single “Escapism.” in collaboration with 070 Shake has skyrocketed the artist to the top.
Tribal Records artist Maverick City Music also received multiple nominations for their collaboration with Kirk Franklin. They continue to break barriers that exist in the Gospel World.
