We are excited to welcome Los Angeles singer, writer, and performer Huddy, aka Chase Hudson, to The Orchard! Huddy is known for his impact on pop culture and disruption on TikTok. He’s been dubbed “pop-punk’s bonafide heir apparent” by Nylon, and is one of the most widely known 20-year-old stars in the world with 53M followers across socials. His newest single “Slowly Healing” released this past week.
In 2022, his release, “All the Things I Hate About You” broke the internet and went viral on TikTok with 32M global streams. Most recently, Huddy made his festival debut at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas and toured the U.S. with Oliver Tree, where he performed to 40 cities of 5000 cap sold out venues.
On his newest single, “Slowly Healing” – Huddy says it’s “a song about being patient and gentle with yourself when struggling through a dark time. When we’re suffering, life can feel impossible and it’s easy to get overwhelmed and frustrated. This song is about pushing through those feelings and emerging as a stronger person. I’m so proud of this track and it’s a perfect way to introduce my next project. I can’t wait for my fans to hear it. I’ve been obsessing over acoustic, R&B, and older French music which influenced my writing process in sessions and drew me to more subtle instruments like the violin, cello, and plain acoustic riffs.”
There’s much more to come from Huddy, as he’s sure to continue breaking the internet and pop scene.
