53rd Annual Juno Nominations Announced

The 53rd annual Juno Awards have announced their nominees for the 2024 season. The ceremony will be hosted by Nelly Furtado and held in Halifax, NS at the Scotiabank Centre on March 24, 2024. It will also be available for broadcast and streamed live across Canada from 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. AT on CBC-TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos and CBC Music’s YouTube page. This year, The Orchard distributed partners received over 30 nominations!

Cult Nation artist Charlotte Cardin received a total of 6 nominations for TikTok Juno Fan Choice, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, and more! Her sophomore album 99 Nights touches on themes of relationship hurdles and self-empowerment which has gained much acclaim. 

Golden Carrot artist Walk off the Earth has received 2 nominations for TikTok Juno Fan Choice and Group of the Year. Their latest projects include Stand By You and Walk off the Earth & Romeo Eats, Vol. 3

Bonsound artist Elisapie received a total of 2 nominations for Contemporary Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year and Album Artwork of the Year. Her album Inuktitut is a journey through her childhood memories and serves as an offering to her people, the Inuit. More than just memories, these are sung as if to someone: a message, a tribute, a cry from the heart.
