2024 AIR Nominations Have Been Announced

The nominations for the 2024 AIR Awards (Australian Independent Record Label Association) have been announced! This year’s AIR Awards will be held at the Queen’s Theatre, Adelaide on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Congratulations to The Orchard’s distributed labels and partners on 20 nominations!

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers (Domestic La La) have gained nominations for Best Independent Rock Album or EP, Independent Song of the Year, and more! The punk-rock band’s debut album I Love You displays a sense of fun and confidence more than ever before seen from them. 

Cooking Vinyl artists scored nominations for the following: Fanny Lumsden’s Hey Dawn for Best Independent Country Album or EP, Luca Brasi’s The World Don’t Owe You Anything for Best Independent Punk Album or EP, and Chris Cowburn – Emma Donovan’s “Blak Nation” for Independent Music Video of the Year.
