The Orchard recently signed its largest publishing deal to date with Manzana Records, home to artists like Ivan Cornejo, Tony Loya, Grupo Los De La O, Los Minis De Caborca, Lluvia Arambula, Alan Trillas, and others. Manzana is the latest of a number of other key publishing signings across the Latin American region since The Orchard announced its partnership with Sony Music Publishing to offer publishing services to its distributed clients in October 2020.
Since its launch, The Orchard Publishing has grown to include powerhouse Latin clients such as Ochoa Records, Midas Musical, Distribuidora Sonográfica, Lealtad Music and Zurdo, Inc, as well as, talented emerging artists such as Perú’s Naia Valdez, Chilean artists, Harry Nach and Kiddtetoon, and Carlos Mendez based in Panama.
The Orchard’s publishing service not only offers its clients world-class administration and royalty collection, but also seeks to support the growth of its writers by facilitating co-writing and collaboration opportunities across The Orchard and Sony Music Publishing’s talented roster of writers and producers. As an example, during a trip to Mexico last October, The Orchard arranged for Naia Valdez to work with some of Sony Music Publishing’s esteemed top-line songwriters and production team while recording her upcoming new album. The extra creative support not only highlights the strength and value of The Orchard and Sony Music Publishing’s partnership, but illustrates how The Orchard’s Publishing team can provide additional support to their clients by fostering strong relationships and helping creatives hone their craft.
