The Orchard presents a free 3-day virtual student series for any student or recent grad who wants to take their music business career to the next level. More specifically, the educational program will display an inside look at how a global music distribution and artist and label services company operates. The student series will include 12 sessions from September 15-17.
Programming will feature panel conversations with executives from The Orchard’s Marketing, YouTube Account Management, Artist and Label Services, Design, Tech, and Human Resources teams. Our design team will explain what goes into web design, Instagram filters, and motion design for artists. Other sessions include How To Tell Your Artist’s Story, Building Brand Identity Through Marketing, Press, and Communications; Beyond the Meme: Driving Consumption Through Impactful Fan Engagement, and more.
Students can expect career development advice and insightful feedback from our HR team, in partnership with global music network SheSaid.So. Other guest participants and partners include GIPHY, Recording Academy’s GRAMMY U, The Digilogue, Girls Who Listen, and more.
