Sinead Harnett – Ready Is Always Too Late (Sinead Harnett)
North London-born R&B singer-songwriter Sinead Harnett presents her highly anticipated sophomore album Ready Is Always Too Late. Her second full-length body of work celebrates Sinead’s journey to embodying the best version of herself, with empowering and uplifting lyrics across the record. Says the singer, “’Ready’ has often been an excuse, and one I didn’t want to use anymore,” Harnett says. “I wasn’t ready to be proud of the skin I was in, to find my inner confidence or to truly practice self-love. But I’m doing it now and it’s an ongoing, crazy, and unpredictable journey that I’m grateful for.” Ready Is Always Too Late features previously released collaborations with EARTHGANG, Masego, and VanJess, as well as the more recent single “Last Love” and “Hard 4 Me 2 Love You.”
Patrick Paige II – If I Fail Are We Still Cool? (Fat Possum)
If you’ve ever listened to a track by Hip-Hop/Jazz/Funk/Electronic/You-Name-It band The Internet, you know that Patrick Paige II rips on the bass. But well before taking up the bass, Patrick wanted to fly. “Since I was little I was obsessed with aviation,” the LA-based musician says. Throughout his new solo album If I Fail Are We Still Cool?, young Patrick’s early obsession with flying makes its way into interludes and themes of ascension. The album features Patrick’s frequent collaborators such as Steve Lacy, Allen Love, Durand Bernar, Syd, Westside McFly, Saba, Ohana Bam, and Forte Bowie.
Juan Ingaramo – La Batalla (Pop Art/Geiser Discos)
Córdoba, Argentina-born artist Juan Ingaramo presents his new album La Batalla (The Battle). The singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist blends classic Latin rhythms with modern pop, urban, reggaeton, cumbia, and cuarteto from Córdoba. In 2019, the Argentinian star received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist following the release of hit singles like “Romeo y Violeta,” “El Campeón,” “Clave (ft. Miranda!)”, “Cuartefunk,” and “Cambias mi amor.” Listen to the latest nine-track album La Batalla from Juan Ingaramo out now via Pop Art/Geiser Discos.
