Check out new music from Canadian singer and producer Lubalin, New York rap legend ELUCID, and Latin heavyweight Alex Rose.
Lubalin – whose love (Cult Nation)
Canadian singer, writer, and producer Lubalin releases his nine-track EP whose love, out now via Cult Nation. Fascinated by sound from a young age, he rapidly developed an ease for experimenting with harmonies, melodies, textures, and vocal timbres. Lubalin found millions of fans after posting his first ‘Internet Drama’ series on TikTok. In the series, Lubalin creates songs out of awkward interactions in the comment section and found fans from Jimmy Fallon to Kelly Clarkson. While many discovered him through his humor, whose love proves Lubalin to be a multi-faceted artist who cannot be put into one lane.
ELUCID – I Told Bessie (Backwoodz Studioz)
Born in Queens and raised in Long Island, rapper/producer ELUCID has been at the forefront of New York’s avant-garde for much of the past decade. Today, the rapper/producer presents his third solo album I Told Bessie. The title is a reference to ELUCID’s paternal grandmother, Bessie Hall, who remained a powerful presence in his life until she passed away in 2017. The album features appearances from Pink Siifu, Quelle Chris, and billy woods and production by Child Actor, The Alchemist, P.U.D.G.E., Sebb Bash, The Lasso, Kenny Segal, August Fanon, and Messiah Musik.
