Introducing James Chryssanthacopoulos, Software Engineer
Hello my name is James Chryssanthacopoulos and I’m excited to be joining The Orchard as a software engineer in the data team.
I grew up in Massachusetts where I also attended college for Physics. After school I joined Lincoln Laboratory developing the next version of collision avoidance systems for aircrafts. In 2013, I moved to New York to join the Center for Climate Systems Research at Columbia University as a programmer/analyst. At the Center, I helped develop systems to improve global food security.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and writing, catching a movie and exploring new areas of the city. In the office you might find me coding to the music of Robert Johnson, Hank Williams or Bob Dylan.
I’m excited for the opportunity to leverage my skills while continuing to grow personally and professionally. I look forward to working with you all!
