The iHeartRadio Music Awards revealed winners at the (virtual) star-studded event celebrating the most played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout the previous year. The show features performances from some of the biggest artists in music, along with must-see collaborations. Since 2013, the show has featured superstar artist performances ranging from Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Pitbull, and more.
While things looked a little bit different this year given COVID-19 social distancing measures, fans were just as excited for the nominees and winners.
This year, Ozuna won Latin Pop/Urban Artist of the Year. Most recently the Latin king released his album ENOC, including contagious songs like “Caramelo Remix” with features from KAROL G and Myke Towers, and “Del Mar” featuring Sia and Doja Cat. Ozuna has been non-stop with releasing full-length albums year after year, and there’s really no stopping him now.
It’s no surprise that BTS, fresh off their massive success of their newest single “Dynamite”, won Best Fan Army and Best Music Video for “Boy With Luv”. These wins come with BTS’s second week spent on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States for “Dynamite.” BTS will be performing at the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which will air September 18 and 19 at 9pm Eastern on The CW and iHeartRadio stations nationwide.
Congrats to all the winners and nominees!
