Congratulations to musician Henrik Felipe who has been nominated for the P3 Gull Newcomer Award! The P3 Gull (also known in English as P3 Gold) is a Norwegian music show and award ceremony. The first edition was held in November 2013 and honors artists in four categories: Newcomer of the Year, Live Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and P3-Prize.
Henrik, hailing from the pristine isolation of the far north of Norway, inhabits a sonic world unlike any other. Forging together elements of rap, pop and indie, he combines an enthralling voice, candid lyrics, and twisted, unforgettable melodies. With heartfelt storytelling and hard beats, his sound perfectly details the anxiety of modern life as well as the trials and tribulations of modern youth.
Henrik’s latest release called BACKYARD EP, produced by Marius Eflstedt, was released this summer. Artists like The Weeknd, BROCKHAMPTON, and Anderson .Paak heavily influenced the direction of his music.
