Congratulating Our 52nd Annual GMA Dove Award Winners

Congratulating Our 52nd Annual GMA Dove Award Winners

The annual Dove Awards recognizes the accomplishments of music professionals within the Christian and Gospel music industries. On October 19, the 52nd Annual GMA Dove Awards were held at the Allen Arena located in Nashville, Tennessee. Since its establishment in 1969, the event has celebrated the rich diversity of Gospel and Christian musical styles, from Pop to Hip Hop to Country. Congratulations to The Orchard’s distributed labels and artists who received a prestigious award at this year’s ceremony!

The community of song-writing worshippers, Maverick City Music, took home the Dove Award for the New Artist of the Year category. Committed to venturing past the boundaries of traditional Contemporary Christian Music, Maverick City Music has topped charts and collaborated with some of music’s biggest names – from Justin Bieber, P. Diddy, Tori Kelly, and more. Since their debut in 2019, the Tribl Records signed group has made headlines and broken records, winning Top Gospel Album Billboard Music Award in Spring for their release of Maverick City Vol. 3 Part 1, and setting the new worldwide record for most first-day streams for a Christian and Gospel album.

The musical family group, The Isaacs, won Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year for their newest project Songs for the Times. The Isaacs began crafting the ten-track masterpiece during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, chronicling the tears and joys of such trying times and encouraging listeners to uphold their faith. The Isaacs are regular performers at the Grand Ole Opry, as well as active members on the Gaither Homecoming videos and concert series.
