This year’s winners of the Jim Beam® INDIES awards have been released! The 2024 Jim Beam® INDIE Awards feature a diverse array of independent Canadian artists across 19 different categories. The awards took place at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on June 6th, 2024. We want to congratulate The Orchard’s distribution labels and partners on a total of 7 wins!
Dine Alone Records won Independent Label of the Year. Founded in St. Catharines, Ontario by Joel Carriere, their roster has expanded to over 50 national and international artists.
Dine Alone Records artist City and Colour had a total of 3 wins, including Artist of the Year, Jim Beam® Fan Choice Award, and Roots/Folk Artist of the Year. Dallas Green’s solo-acoustic project has taken the world by storm, riveting listeners with his signature vocals and guitar sound.
Elisapie won Indigenous Artist/Group of the Year. The Canadian Inuk singer-songwriter has a strong presence in the Montreal indie and folk scenes, making her culture resonate with finesse by mixing modernity and tradition.
