The 65th Annual GRAMMY® nominations are here! The nominees for the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards were revealed during a live-streamed event from The Recording Academy’s GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. The Orchard’s distributed artists and labels were placed amongst numerous categories & genres, for over 40 nominations!
This year, Rimas Entertainment artist Bad Bunny received three nominations under the Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Música Urbana Album, and Album of the Year categories. In the GRAMMY’s 65-year history, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti is the first full Spanish-language album to ever receive a nomination in the Album of the Year category. Un Verano Sin Ti has broken records and cemented Bad Bunny as one of the biggest stars in the world. Last year, he was also nominated for Best Música Urbana Album with his album El Último Tour Del Mundo and won.
Black River Entertainment artist Kelsea Ballerini received a nomination for Best Country Solo Performance, with the first single off of her album SUBJECT TO CHANGE, “HEARTFIRST.” Kelsea’s previous GRAMMY nominations include Best New Artist in 2017 and Best Country Album for Unapologetically in 2019. Since then, Kelsea Ballerini has grown into one of Nashville’s top pop-country artists and is sure to see continued success.
Gospel nominations featured TRIBL Records artist Maverick City Music for a total of 5 nominations under the Best Gospel Performance/Song, Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song, Best Gospel Album, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album categories. Maverick City Music is an American worship collective whose dream is to make space for community and true belonging through music.
