DJ Premier – Hip Hop 50: Volume 1 (Mass Appeal)
Mass Appeal’s massive #HipHop50 initiative includes strategic partnerships, immersive global activations and innovative programming in celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th birthday. Kicking off the EP series as part of Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack is Hip Hop 50: Volume 1 produced by the legendary DJ Premier. Chris Martin, who is better known by his stage name DJ Premier, gained an extensive following from fans of hip-hop and rap in the ’90s. Hip Hop 50: Volume 1 is a collection of five powerful tracks recorded with Nas, Slick Rick, Run the Jewels, Rapsody, and Remy Ma, with guest appearances from Joey Bada$$ and Lil Wayne. Hip Hop 50: Volume 1 transports fans down memory lane – paying homage to its roots while also spotlighting its evolution.
Drebae – Work of Art (Drebae LLC)
Bay Area rapper DeAndre Clark, who records as Drebae, first rose to fame in 2018 after he became a viral sensation with his hit single “Elegant.” Known for his raw talent, unparalleled creativity, and natural charisma, he quickly garnered a significant following from fans all over the world. In that same year, Drebae was invited by Kehlani to perform “Elegant” to over 50,000 spectators in his hometown during her main stage time at San Francisco Pride 2018. With his vibrant social media presence and personality, he was quickly able to connect with many of today’s biggest artists. Most notably, Megan thee Stallion featured in his 2021 single “No Pressure” – which was widely popular amongst fans of both artists. Drebae’s latest release, Work of Art, features seven energetic and upbeat tracks and is his second album to date.
Yours Truly – is this what i look like? (UNFD)
Australian pop-punk group Yours Truly is known for their punchy songwriting and energetic performances. Consisting of Mikaila Delgado, Teddie Winder-Haron, Lachlan Cronin, and Bradley Cronan, the group first rose to fame with their self-released debut EP Too Late for Apologies in 2017. In 2019, they released their second EP Afterglow, which included the popular hit singles “Circles” and “High Hopes.” In 2020, they released their debut studio album, Self Care, which garnered extensive recognition after peaking at No.19 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The group’s brand new album, is this what i look like?, is a seven-track EP that is sure to be a smashing hit amongst fans of the group’s edgy and instantly recognizable music.
