Myke Towers, Easy Money Baby (Get Low Records)
Puerto Rican rapper and singer Myke Towers has made himself a regular on the Latin charts – with an expectation to keep climbing. In 2016, his debut album El Final del Principio peaked at #12 on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Albums Sales chart. His singles since 2016 have been all over the Hot Latin Songs chart, with“Si Se Da” peaking at #11. The reggaeton artist has surprised fans with the release of his new album, Easy Money Baby. His new music incorporates early hip-hop and 90’s R&B influences, in addition to his signature urban Latin feel. Vibe to Easy Money Baby now on all digital platforms.
Whitney Peyton, Alpha (Suburban Noize Records)
Whitney Peyton is an artist that plays by her own rules. The solo rapper grew up outside of Philadelphia and was heavily inspired by a wide range of genres. Peyton’s music influences include pop punk acts like Sum 41 and Avril Lavigne, to hip-hop artists like Missy Elliot and fellow Philly native Will Smith. Whitney Peyton’s music is a gripping blend of rock-infused hip-hop as a result. Whitney’s newest album Alpha is out now via Suburban Noize Records, whose other artists include Kottonmouth Kings, Madchild, Kingspade, and more. The Wood Brothers, Kingdom in My Mind (Honey Jar Records)
The Wood Brothers, Chris and Oliver, grew up listening to american roots music in their hometown of Boulder, Colorado. Things have come full circle for these brothers, since The Wood Brothers as a band were named one of the best “artists making great southern rock right now” by Paste Magazine. Their latest album Kingdom in My Mind is out now via Honey Jar Records and is anticipated to be one of their best records yet. Their seventh studio album reckons with time, morality, human nature, and the power external forces can have on our internal selves.
