Mass Appeal artist, DJ Shadow is up for Independent Video of The Year for “Nobody Speak” feat. Run the Jewels. The notably relevant video dubs the rappers’ aggressive lyrics into the mouths of politicians causing a heated debate to turn physical. The ironic clash of the professional setting and inappropriate behavior is hilarious yet terrify as lapels are ripped to shreds. The action packed video is brilliantly filmed and captures the upbeat funky rhythm mixed with harsh content mirroring the theme of the song.
Just in time for their 30th anniversary, Nuclear Blast has been nominated for Independent Label of The Year. Having worked with Nuclear Blast for over half of The Orchard’s existence it is clear this label is worthy beyond words. The metal label is home to a number of favorites including All Shall Perish, Cradle of Filth, Hatebreed, Meshuggah and Suicide Silence, just to name a few.
