Introducing Gina Soileau, Junior Data Scientist
Hello, my name is Gina Soileau and I just joined The Orchard as a Junior Data Scientist. I have a background in computer science and spent lots of time working at the intersection of technology and finance at a large hedge fund. So far, the intersection of technology and music is proving way more fascinating! I am super excited to dig into our rich and ginormous data sets.
I am a Cajun, from south Louisiana and all of my uncles (and great uncles) play accordion, not kidding, all of them. It is not uncommon for there to be 5+ accordions on stage at family reunions. I like most genres of music and I love to dance. I also love to cook and often bring my lunch, so if you smell gumbo on the 4th floor, follow your nose and say hello.
