Introducing Nate Snyder, Associate Director, Data
I am The Orchard’s newest Associate Director of Engineering for the Data squad. I’m joining after six years at 2U, in the EdTech space, where I built pipelines for registrar data and a gradebook, among many other things.
I grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania. (Yes, the town once smelled like chocolate, but they have since torn down the original factory so it unfortunately does not anymore.) I studied Philosophy and Economics at the University of Rochester and spent a year teaching English in China.
This is a return to music for me. I was the general manager of my college’s radio station WRUR. hile I was there, I launched the station’s streaming-only counterpart The Sting, which I just confirmed, still exists. I also hosted and founded a show called The All Weather Lunch (which also still exists)! I first heard about The Orchard when they contacted WRUR to play artists on our station.
I’m excited to be here and looking forward to working with you all.
